Alright,
So i’m sure most of the visitors noticed; AZSupraCentral was down for about two weeks. What happened was a addon to the forums was unsecure and caused people to be able to exploit the site and obtain data, as well as modify the data corrupting the site. Our old host Dreamhost was supposed to store backups of the site for us, however after battling with them for two days they wiped their hands of the ordeal. Leaving AZSupraCentral broken, with no backups and no way to recover our data on their server.

I have now migrated AZSupraCentral to a new server managed by me. There will be backups and no more insecure plugins! Lots of things are broken still, one of them being the image gallery on the forums. Going to it will either throw an error or redirect you back to the forums index page.

I hope to get the gallery back up within the next couple days, but no guarantee.

If you discover any problems/errors please report them to HIDDEN EMAIL.

Thanks

March Event – Scenic Drive To Pine, AZ

To compliment last months turnout, we plan on going NE instead of NW this time towards Pine Arizona. This drive will be much more scenic and have more of a forest feel to it. On the way back after lunch we will be stopping off at the Natural Bridge, Cost is $5 per car to park and enter the bridge however this place offers a wonderful spot to take pictures and hang out for a bit.

Tonto National Bridge Details:

Tucked away in a tiny valley surrounded by a forest of pine trees, Tonto Natural Bridge State Park has been in the making for thousands of years. It is believed to be the largest natural travertine bridge in the world. The bridge stands 183 feet high over a 400-foot long tunnel that measures 150 feet at its widest point. The discovery of the small and beautiful valley between Pine and Payson was documented in 1877 by David Gowan, a prospector who stumbled across the bridge as he was chased by Apaches. Gowan hid for two nights and three days in one of several caves that dot the inside of the bridge. On the third day, he left the cave to explore the tunnel and green valley surrounding it. Gowan then claimed squatter’s rights. In 1898 he persuaded his nephew, David Gowan Goodfellow, to bring his family over from Scotland and settle the land permanently. After a week of difficult travel from Flagstaff, the Goodfellows arrived at the edge of the mountain and lowered their possessions down the 500 foot slopes into the valley by ropes and burros. Today, visitors can stand on top of the bridge or hike down below to capture the true size and beauty of this geologic wonder.
